Courtney Venker and Jenny Johnson presented Lingo Lab research at this year's Michigan Speech and Hearing Association Conference. Their talk, entitled "The Trouble with Tech: How Electronic Toys Impact Language Learning Opportunities for Young Children" summarized the detrimental effects that electronic toys can have on interactions between parents and children. The presentation was attended by speech-language pathologists, researchers, students, and scholars.
