Megan Nylund, Undergraduate Student

Megan is an undergraduate student at Michigan State University. Her major is in Elementary Education with a minor in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Over the years, Megan has had several experiences in working with children. These include being a babysitter, a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor, a volunteer in the school systems, a volunteer for Safety Town, a tutor for elementary and high school-aged children, and an assistant daycare teacher. Megan plans on pursuing a master’s degree in speech-language pathology after graduation. She aspires to be a speech-language pathologist in the school systems or at a children’s hospital. She is excited to work with the Lingo Lab to learn more about the autism spectrum disorder and the research that will provide more effective therapy for these children that she can utilize in the future.
